Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports To: Graphic Design Manager

The Graphic Design Intern position works under the guidance & mentorship of the Graphic Design Manager to support the creation of print creative materials, aligning with our brand strategy. This position offers a unique learning opportunity, providing hands-on experience in developing weekly ad and flyer versions in a dynamic design environment, in close collaboration with the Graphic Design Team.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the production of the main ad and auxiliary ads (3-day sales, item/price promotion, direct mail pieces, etc.) as led by the Senior Graphic Designer

  • Assist with product photo support for print ads, including clipping and saving to the server

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timeline completion and adherence to brand guidelines

  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

  • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year graphic design degree program

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign; proficiency in Photoshop is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of layout fundamentals

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating dedication, collaboration, and self-motivation

    The Graphic Design Intern is a hourly position that can be part- or full-time, with morning and/or afternoons schedules.
