Danville Public School system is hiring teachers and instructors for various positions at various schools throughout the school system for the 2020 school year.

• Works with students with various academic levels.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability level of the student.
• Plans a program of learning experiences that will assist in achieving skill development and progression for students at the secondary level in earthscience.
• Uses assessment data to provide meaningful instruction.
• Provides meaningful instructional delivery that connectsscience to the real world using hands-on activities.
• Instructs students in objectives commensurate with curriculum and pacing guides.
• Complies with and enforces school rules and school board policies and procedures.
• Attends and participates in faculty meetings and serves on committees as appropriate.
• Performs other school duties and assignments as appointed.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license, with appropriate endorsement.
