Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Ohio

Description:

Mechanical/ electrical/ troubleshooting

1, Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve efficiency, capability and yield.

2, Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).

3, Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.

4, Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.

5, Oversees and reviews the work of lower-level technicians.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN MUST HAVES:

Must Have:

  • 70% Mechanical / 20% Computers (HMI's) / 10% Electrical

  • Must have experience troubleshooting speeds, feeds and adjustments on machinery

  • Must have the ability to change, disassemble, assembler pumps, gears and motors.

  • Must have experience working with HMI's and Computer Skills (Would like someone proficient in office and excel)

  • Must have experience with Pneumatics

  • Computer skills (will use a laptop; would like someone proficient in Office)

  • 10% Electrical - 480 Volt / 3 phase Knowledge

  • Must be open to the shift schedule

PLUSES:

-Experience within highly automated facility

-Maintenance on Robotics

AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC:

  • This candidate would need to be someone that is assembling and disassembling the engine for them to be considered.

  • Experience with vacuums, servos, sensors, vision systems
