ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Guest & Exhibitor Services Coordinator at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The Guest & Exhibitor Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Guest Services & Exhibitor Services personnel for the facility. Interacts with clients, exhibitors, facility staff, and related personnel to assure smooth operation of the Guest Services & Exhibitor Services departments. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the highest level of customer service.

Serves as Guest Service Ambassador staff and all accompanying duties.

Serves as Exhibitor Services Representative and all accompanying duties.

Scheduling Guest Service Ambassador & Exhibitor Services staff for building guest service zones & service desks

Scheduling Guest Service staff for special projects

Assists in implementation of facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Maintains rapport with clients, exhibitors, their associates, or service suppliers as necessary.

Advises and assists in planning process as necessary.

Assists in training of Guest Service Ambassador & Exhibitor Services Representative staff.

Assists Customer & Guest Experience Manager in supervision of Guest Service Ambassador & Exhibitor Services staff.

Answers & responds to emails, phone calls, and questions from exhibitors.

Prepares utility & booth cleaning reports in preparation for upcoming shows.

Assists in completing monthly financial audits for the Guest Services department.

Closes out, balances accounts, and sends final invoices to exhibitors and vendors at the conclusion of shows.

Manages the Guest Service Center POS system.

Maintains and audits all Guest Service Center photocopying equipment.

Represents Guest Service & Exhibitor Services departments at facility meetings, pre-cons, post-cons as needed.

Schedules facility art tours and schedules staff to lead.

Assists Guest Experience Manager with survey platform (Medallia).

Assists Guest Experience Manager with payroll.

Assists Guest Experience Manager in creating and implementing new Guest Service & Exhibitor Services initiatives that continue to enhance the overall guest experience in the facility.

Assists in covering the receptionist desk as needed.

Operate two-way radio, cell phone, and client owned communication devices.

Must have the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, court
