Ambulatory RN-Intensive Feeding Requisition ID 2024-48611 Category Nursing Overview Clinic Hours: Monday- Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Shift: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week Minimum Rate of Pay: $32/hr The Comprehensive Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Program's Intensive Feeding Track is an intensive outpatient treatment option. It is for children with feeding difficulties who have tried traditional outpatient therapies and have not fully achieved their feeding goals, including: Decrease tube feedings Prevent and/or remove feeding tube Improve weight and nutrition status Improve mealtime behaviors and skills Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention as they assist patients and families to move rapidly, uneventfully, safely, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care. Delegates, oversees and provides quality, safe and developmentally appropriate patient care. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. Maintains a current Ohio Nursing License. Why Nationwide Children's Hospital? Responsibilities Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance such as infection control, OSHA, CLIA, Joint Commission, HIPAA, scope of practice, etc. Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures Engages in the workplace community by staying aware of changes, participating in data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and representing staff at relevant meetings Reporting important information and updates back to staff Note: Regular, reliable and consistent attendance is an essential job function. Qualifications EDUCATION: Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required, BSN highly preferred. If AD hired after January 1, 2012, must successfully complete BSN in 5 years of start date.
