Newport Meadows is currently seeking a Per-Diem/PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to assist in a beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility located in Christiana , PA. PRN opportunities include both weekdays and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide physical therapy services to patients in a designated facility under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

To promote and assist patients in a progression of care to achieve optimum patient involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.

To ensure quality and safe delivery of rehabilitation services.

To ensure that physical therapy services reflecting Newport meadows mission and standards are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
