Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Charlotte, North Carolina. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in establishing and managing accounting processes and procedures to support our growth within the transportation and supply chain industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll

• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls

• Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes

• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve departmental goals

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and improve financial processes

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company’s financial health and growth strategies

• Implement and maintain accounting software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations

• Support strategic planning and decision-making with financial analysis and insights Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is a must

• Experience with Oracle is a plus

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary
