An exciting summer internopportunity awaits a motivated student in Pennsylvaniabeginning the week of May 13th for an approximate 3-month term. This is a temporary, part-timehourly-paid position, approximately 20 hours per week, reporting to the Senior Director, Global Security that is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

The Intern, Global Security Analyst utilizes internal processes and external tools to identify risks that may impact Nutrien's personnel and facilities. The analyst will be required to accurately process emerging and developing information, communicate actionable intelligence, contribute to travel risk, and threat assessment products, as well as intake emergency phone calls, and provide support during crises situations.

What you will do:

Continuously monitor worldwide events in real-time through social media, open-source information, and proprietary services to evaluate and disseminate information on any threats to Nutrien's employees or its locations. Process data and compose accurate and timely communications, according to established procedures and templates, to notify relevant stakeholders (security management, employees, travelers, leadership, etc.). Conduct research and produce analysis for wide-ranging security assessments with a geopolitical scope. Able to deliver these high-quality assessments in both written and verbal form. Analyze daily developments to identify trends and patterns, provide forecasts, and make recommendations. Gain familiarity with a country or issue quickly. Send communications via a mass notification system to many staff in the event of a crisis. Evaluate and assist staff in obtaining proper travel approvals, for proposed travel to high-risk locations. Directly support travel security initiatives through the preparation of location threat briefs. Provide research and analysis of personal protection situations for designated personnel worldwide. Conduct due diligence investigations on entities and persons as directed.

What you will bring:

Current enrollment in Applied Intelligence Studies or Cyber Security program, 2nd or 3rd year completion preferred. Strong knowledge of world affairs and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) experience necessary. Knowledge or exposure to the following areas preferred: Research skills Interest in and understanding of geopolitical trends and news Analytical exposure to accurately conclude by processing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
