Position Details

• Location: Remote (must reside in the State of Florida)

• Status: Full Time (Exempt: YES)

• Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

• Days: Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

The Supervisor of Credentialing Verification Office (CVO), under supervision of the Credentialing Manager, is responsible for:

• Supervising, coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process.

• Facilitates all aspects of BayCare Health System credentialing, including initial appointment, reappointment, as well as clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and all other providers outlined in the Health System Entity Medical Staff Bylaws, policies, or related contracts.

• Ensures interpretation and compliance with the appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies, while developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws relating to credentialing.

• Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the credentialing database system and related applications.

• Required Certification within 1 year includes Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Provider Medical Services Management (CPMSM).

Certifications and Licensures

Education

• Required HS Diploma or Equivalent GED

Experience

• Required - 5 years - Credentialing; Or - 5 years - Managed Care
