If so, Clermont County is seeking a full-time Income Maintenance Worker 3 within the Department of Job and Family Services, Division of Public Assistance Services Type: Full-Time Permanent (Classified) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime) Probationary Period: 1 year Salary: Negotiable depending on qualifications/experience (Minimum rate $18.93 an hour) Posting Period: Position will be open until filled. Responsible for managing a large volume of customer and professional inquiries by phone, fax, e-mail, postal service mail and in-person. Conducts interactive interviews with applicants and authorized representatives in person or by phone. Responsible for all caseload management duties associated with cases assigned and case banking. Uses various computer systems and software programs as caseload management tools to interview and approve new cases and to review, make changes, updates and adjustments to ongoing cases. This includes the processing of daily alerts and information provided by the system regarding income and resources that may not have been reported by the customer. Prepare documentation for and attend State Hearings, may be required to assist with quality control reviews, may assist with special projects and issues as assigned. Required to assess adults and families to address multiple needs such as transportation, child care, domestic violence, health care, drug and alcohol problems, and child welfare issues in order to refer adults and families to the appropriate DJFS and/or community services. Prepares and maintains case records in the digital imaging system; prepares and refers cases to investigation unit to report cases of suspected fraud or erroneous payment. Attends staff meetings and training sessions in order to receive and maintain current policy and procedure information necessary to continue to perform job duties accurately. Participates in committees/work groups as required to assess caseload management policies/procedures and provide recommendations for enhancement. Works alone or with other persons in short or long-term team projects to resolve problems or conflicts in any area of county operations or to complete assigned projects at the direction of any county supervisor or Department Head when assigned. Works aggressively to reduce or eliminate safety/risk concerns in current position or work location. Reports safety/risk management issues to immediate supervisor.
