Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: We're looking for a qualified HVAC Technician for our Batavia OH location. This role is a professional who installs, maintains, and repairs heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems including estimating the cost of repairs, ordering parts, and tracking HVAC maintenance by completing PMs in the maintenance system. Work You'll Do: Install HVAC systems according to design specifications. Conduct regular maintenance of HVAC systems, including cleaning, and replacing parts. Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, such as leaks or mechanical defects. Testing individual components to determine necessary repairs. Provide recommendations and cost estimates for repairs or replacements. Ensure all work is done in accordance with state and local regulations. Maintain records of service work performed. Provide excellent customer service, explaining complex HVAC issues to others in an understandable way. Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform responsibilities. Stay up to date in the latest changes in HVAC regulations. Team: This role will be a part of the Batavia, OH Facility Maintenance team reporting directly to the Facility Maintenance Manager. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience as a HVAC service Technician Effective written and verbal communication. Ability to work in heights. Experienced in the use of ariel lift equipment. Problem solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary educational program in HVAC or a related field, or an apprenticeship. Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), preferably Asset Essentials. Licensed HVAC preferred.
