Preschool substitute teachers may also be known as early childhood education facilitators, lead teachers, or head teachers. Substitute preschool paraprofessionals are also referred to as assistant teachers, aides, or facilitator aides.

Roles available:

Substitute Pre-K teacher

Pay:

$29.24 - $33.92 an hour

Minimum requirements:

48+ college credits and the Colorado Substitute Authorization OR ECE certification or degree in ECE or related field as defined by Colorado Department of Early Childhood

Substitute Pre-K paraprofessional

Pay:

$19 - $22.04 an hour

Minimum requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities:

Assume duties of the center employee in accordance with lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies

Assist, support, and work closely with the supervising center employees

For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans
