WestRock Company Master Data Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia
Career Opportunity:
This Master Data Analyst will participate in item master, pricing & reference table maintenance, data analysis, enhancements, system testing and training. This role will interact with leaders within Procurement, IT, Operations and Technical Services Groups as well as external vendors.

How you will impact WestRock:
Manage the Item Master record-set and other related reference tables, that integrate with SAP for purchasing and inventory management
Execute the item related data procedures necessary for creating, extending, editing and/or approving items within WestRock’s Material Master.
Manage accurate pricing and supplier part numbers within SAP by performing analysis of supplier data using Excel, Qlikview and other database tools
Collaborate with mill/plant personnel, suppliers, category managers and other stakeholders to accurately manage all elements of master data
Track, evaluate and report the status of pricing agreements and expirations; maintain pricing models and standardized item/price templates
Resolve Master data issues through research and/or mill/plant personnel interaction
Perform bulk loading of items, pricing and reference master data and resolve any issues associated with the upload process
Provide input and participate in SAP testing and implementation, reporting and dashboards
Lead ad-hoc data management related projects
Document and maintain policies, procedures and training material as required
Training, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of core data management experience (i.e. understanding of data dictionaries, item/pricing/supplier segmentation, enforcing data governance standards, etc.)
Experience with manufacturing, MRO parts, and inventory management
Working knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA a plus)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and the ability to manage large datasets
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
