Role Summary/Purpose:

This VP, Digital Analytics - Consumer Bank role combines a deep understanding of analytics and data management, with a demonstrated mastery of common marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to help drive deposits growth and optimize digital marketing strategies. This role partners closely with Marketing to solve key challenges such as marketing investment efficiency, channel measurements & optimizations, data accuracy, funnel analysis, and digital attribution strategies. This role also coordinates with the broader analytics team to leverage multiple data sources and types to provide cohesive analytics that inform and direct strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive the use of data analytics to support decision-making and drive business performance.

  • Own all dashboard and insights generation for the Digital Marketing team, assessing stakeholder needs and establishing the right cadence and depth of insight to meet daily business decision making requirements.

  • Lead the evaluation and integration of marketing technologies to enhance measurement and efficiency.

  • Lead marketing attribution efforts to assess the impact of various marketing channels and guide optimization decisions.

  • Act as a leader to junior analysts and trusted advisor to leadership to solve complex business problems and provide actionable guidance using sound business judgement and data driven insights

  • Prioritize workload of U.S. based and offshore analysts to ensure high-quality execution and delivery of marketing analytics and reporting. Provide mentoring and feedbacks to offer shore team

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of analytics experience in the consumer banking, financial services, and/or credit card industry

  • 7+ years of progressive work experience, including:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics for digital marketing

  • 5+ years of experience actively using Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to measure the benefits of digital experiences and customer behaviors

Desired Characteristics:

  • Advanced degree in statistics, decision sciences, engineering, or other quantitative field

  • Experience using BigQuery a plus

  • Experience using Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, and/or SA 360 a plus

  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing concepts and digital analytics platform tools with experience measuring various channels including Websites, TV, CTV, Online Video, Paid Search, Social Media, Affiliate, Display, Native, and Email Marketing.

  • Industry experience in banking or financial services preferred

  • Strong background in designing and/or leading the creation of data visualization toolsets

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present to business users or management teams

  • Strong leadership, analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Experience influencing and directing people within and outside of reporting structure

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
